There's an element of uncertainty ahead as we head into the summer of 2021. This includes the way in which our service to the community will include the highly appreciated human connection as Rotary participants had in previous moments. It is a fact that the motto "hands are in front of each other" is going to be a key aspect of the program It's evident that there is a growing optimism and the desire to connect face-to face. Rotary has indeed changed. There is no certainty about the manner in which our service to humanity can be incorporated into the highly coveted connections between people that Rotary members enjoyed in the prior years. Even though the "hands in space" principle is certain to become part of routine in our club, there's no doubt that there is a feeling of trust is growing and more members have been able to make connections face-to-face. Rotary however has changed. Rotary network helps to create lasting relationships. We've honed the way we conduct the business meetings online' whilst reintroducing the social and service aspects using a friendly face-toface approach. These new possibilities have been paired with the lessons we have learned from our previous pandemics to bring a fresh perspective to Rotary. An earlier Rotary survey found that around 75% of clubs had plans to go on regular business. Listen to the report below. Amanda Watkin is the General Secretary of Rotary Magazine. It was wonderful to learn that according to a recent Rotary research study seventy percent of members were planning on their regular programs and community-based projects which were previously useful to communities across Great Britain. Furthermore, I'm extremely proud of how Rotary Support Team Rotary Support Team is continuing to provide valuable tools to help promote and assist with these projects. Also, they manage infrastructures that keep members safe and ensure the safety of the public. Compliance and insurance is crucial. It's amazing to observe how our members have come up with innovative ways to solve many of the toughest problems. I'm grateful for the fact that Rotary gave me the chance to join the club in 2002. Rotary has provided me, just and many others an extensive network of trustworthy like-minded individuals from which I've developed genuine friendships in the last 20 years.
